Who is Eligible
Day of Mindfulness: Meditation & Writing is a free, day-long event, open to women who are veterans, active duty, reservists, or women military family members/partners. Writing is private, free form, and intended to allow presence with, expression of, and curiosity about thoughts and feelings that arise during meditation. The goal is to support the use of meditation and writing as tools for personal healing and growth, both alone or in the presence of others.
The retreats are co-lead by Mitra Bishop, Roshi, Mountain Gate, family member, and Caroline LeBlanc, MFA, veteran, family member, writer, and owner of Wilderness Heart Workshops/Writing For Your Life.
